Zion Baptist Church. John, died in VA, was in Co. A, 55th VA Infantry. Richard, "Uncle Dick", living at time of letter. Ellis, died in VA. c) Polly administered her husbands considerable estate including many slaves. The slaves remained with her after the Civil War. When her son Ellis and his wife died during the Civil War, Polly took in their 4 children and cared for them until her death in the late 1860's.

There is a map drawn in the Civil War which is in the History of Essex County that shows BEAZLEY home located about where the old BOUGHAN home is located in Dunbrooke. Further work needs to be performed at the Courthouse to determine what property this is.
